THY SEOUL’s first North American line leads with pleats
Seoul label THY SEOUL, based in Seongsu-dong, is launching its first North American assortment with retail partner EPHEMERA at a New York pop-up on October 16, local time. The lineup includes the khaki pleated Unbalance Jacket.
The Unbalance Jacket
In the label’s photograph, fine folds gather at the elbow, spread across the body and follow the line of the shoulder and sleeve. EPHEMERA describes the fabric as stretchy pleats made from 100% polyester.

Light and posture change the apparent width of the folds. Fit and durability have not been tested.
Clothing and accessories
THY SEOUL makes jackets, blouses and skirts alongside bags and scarves, and its U.S. launch announcement presented them as connected parts of a season.
The retailer’s brand page shows Safari Jackets, a black Unbalance blouse and skirt, a backpack and scarves in several colors.
Pop-up and sales status
EPHEMERA’s event page lists the pop-up for October 16, New York time, at PARK at KIMS, 119 Elizabeth Street.
As of October 10, Korea time, the jacket’s U.S. product page showed US$510 with a restock-notification option and a coming-soon status. A catalog listing does not mean the item can be ordered yet.
