Digital Onnuri prize draw starts October 15: where you pay matters
From October 15 to November 15, Digital Onnuri payments at participating offline merchants earn entries in a prize draw. Each accumulated KRW 30,000 earns one entry in the capital region and two elsewhere.
Consent in the app
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced the promotion on October 14. Privacy consent opens in the Digital Onnuri app at 9 a.m. KST on October 15. Consent given by November 15 covers qualifying payments across the whole event period, regardless of the date of agreement.
Ordinary card payments and paper Onnuri vouchers are not automatically included.
Payment location counts
Entries accrue for every KRW 30,000: one in the capital region and two outside it, up to 30 per person. A Seoul resident who pays with Digital Onnuri at a participating merchant outside the capital region earns entries at that region’s rate.
Participation is set shop by shop, not by market.
Prizes
The draw awards KRW 1.7 billion in Digital Onnuri vouchers to 5,600 winners. Ten first-prize winners receive KRW 30 million each, drawn only from participants holding entries earned outside the capital region.
Second through fourth prizes are open to participants nationwide, with no multiple wins. It is a draw, not a guaranteed refund.
Results in December
Winners will be notified individually through the app in early December, with vouchers paid during December. The announcement describes a nationwide event but does not set out account, identity-verification or participation conditions for foreign nationals.
