Show a coupon, get a free bag of almond pretzels. Shinsegae Simon's Yeoju Premium Outlet has rolled out a batch of upgrades for foreign visitors: a snack pop-up through the 22nd and a dedicated tourist desk opening on the 23rd.
The catch on the free pretzels
From Oct. 16 to 22, nut brand HBAF has a pop-up on the bridge linking the EAST and WEST zones of the outlet, with 15 almond and popcorn products.
Foreign visitors who show a dedicated coupon get a free 40 g bag of cheddar cheese almond pretzel. Anyone, of any nationality, who spends KRW 10,000 or more gets a 25 g bag of anchovy almonds.
From twice a week to every day
The outlet's foreigner-only one-day tour shuttle started last April at two trips a week. Ridership grew, the schedule was raised step by step, and from this month it runs seven days a week.
Fitting an outlet day into a Seoul itinerary just got easier.
A tourist desk from the 23rd
On Oct. 23, a Tourist Information desk opens at the EAST zone guide center, with foreign-language maps plus tax-refund and shopping information in one place.
An unmanned currency-exchange kiosk is due later this month.
The pop-up moves on to Siheung
The same pop-up relocates to Siheung Premium Outlet from Oct. 23 to Nov. 2. Miss Yeoju and you get a second shot in the capital region.
Before you go
The free pretzels need the foreigner coupon, and the Yeoju pop-up ends on the 22nd.
The desk opens on the 23rd, so visit after that if you want tax-refund guidance. A Shinsegae Simon official said it has "strengthened convenience services and content together" as foreign visitors keep rising.
