MovieLAB pairs films with something to read

MovieLAB, a Korean platform that combines film streaming with articles, viewing records, merchandise and guides to cinema spaces, launched on October 1. Memberships cost KRW 9,900 a month or KRW 99,000 a year.

Films and articles

MOVIE is where users choose films, and LAB offers writing about the works and their makers. The official home page features Korean titles including Paju, Jealousy Is My Middle Name and The Unforgiven, each linked to related articles.

Records, shop and spaces

MY is for recording viewing history and tastes. SHOP sells film-related items such as posters and records, and SPACE introduces art-house cinemas and other film venues. Merchandise is bought separately from the viewing membership.

Membership prices

The official membership page lists KRW 9,900 per month and KRW 99,000 per year. Audio and subtitle options for each film, as well as payment and cancellation terms, are shown on the sign-up page. Whether the free trial announced at launch still applies has not been confirmed.
