Where to stay on concert and festival nights

On a big show night, the rooms next to the venue are the first to go and the most expensive. One direct train away there are more rooms and smaller mark-ups. For each venue we picked those neighbourhoods and the hotels closest to their stations.

How to book a show-night room

  • Book a free-cancellation rate as soon as the date is announced. You can still switch if a better room shows up.
  • Pick a hotel on the same subway line as the venue, so there is no late-night transfer.
  • Check the last train from the venue station before you go. The "Route & last train" button on each card opens Google Maps transit directions.
  • Right after the show the nearest station is the most crowded. Walking to the next station on the same line is an option.
  • If a property cancels a confirmed booking and relists it at a higher price, tell the booking platform first. You can also report it to the 1330 Korea Travel Hotline (24 hours, multilingual).
