Arong Chung’s Nostalgia Magica runs at Nook Gallery to Oct. 24

Arong Chung, a painter who draws on mythology and childhood imagination, is showing Nostalgia Magica at nook gallery in Seoul’s Pyeongchang-dong through October 24.

The works

The show brings together woodland oil paintings, ceramics and new small egg-tempera works with gold leaf. The surfaces and scale shift from one material to the next.

Visitor information

Through October 24; open Tuesday to Saturday 11 a.m.–6 p.m. and 1–6 p.m. on public holidays. Admission and booking conditions are available from the gallery.
