Bloom and Boundary, a solo show by Daegu-based photographer Joo Hyoung Lee, runs at GOODSPACE in Daegu’s Jung-gu through October 14.

The work

Lee uses film to record natural light and subtle shifts in perception. The exhibition pairs Bloom, a series of azaleas, with Boundary of Senses, photographed in wetlands and valleys. Blurred surroundings and backlight carry as much weight as the sharply focused flowers.
