Nuri’s fifth launch is two days away with 15 satellites; exact launch time will be set on launch day

South Korea’s fifth Nuri launch is scheduled for October 7, carrying 15 satellites: five NEONSAT spacecraft and ten CubeSats. The exact launch time will be confirmed by the launch management committee on launch day after weather and space-environment checks.

The mission is Korea’s first multi-launch of a satellite constellation

The Korea AeroSpace Administration and KARI say the fifth Nuri mission will carry NEONSAT 2 through 6, five primary satellites, plus ten CubeSats. A key part of the flight is deploying multiple primary satellites sequentially into their planned orbit.

October 7 is the target date, with a reserve window through October 14

The scheduled launch date is October 7, with October 8 through 14 set aside as a reserve period in case weather or other conditions require a delay. KASA says the final launch time will be decided by the launch management committee on the day itself.
