After finishing her first cookbook, Maangchi returned to Korea in 2015 and made kimchi in Seoul for a meetup with readers and viewers. The video follows her from choosing ingredients to mixing the seasoning, coating the cabbage and sharing the food.

The recipe
In her recipe notes, Maangchi describes using one napa cabbage, fish sauce instead of salted shrimp and ripe persimmons for sweetness. The video shows both the cooking and the people eating together.
