An immersive Crayon Shin-chan exhibition has opened in Seoul's Seongsu-dong. It runs from Oct. 17 to Jan. 24, 2027, with the premise that Shin-chan and his Kasukabe Defense Group got swept into a space-time turbulence.
You start in the living room and rescue the family by QR code
A short film shows the Nohara family being sucked into a supernatural force. From there you scan QR codes hidden around the venue with a dedicated mobile app, collect characters and rescue Hiroshi, Misae and little Himawari.
The route walks you through familiar rooms such as the family living room and the kindergarten.
Chase a monster with Shin-chan's bum, meet your AI look-alike
A Seoul-themed zone has large Shin-chan sculptures and a game where you drive off a monster with his bottom. In the Future City, AI matches you with a future Shin-chan look-alike.
The jungle zone is a dance party with the Defense Group, and the dream zone has a rabbit-doll installation.
From the original manga to movie posters
The museum zone gathers original manga volumes, posters from past movies and original artwork. Past the street and kindergarten recreations are a goods shop and a collab cafe.
Key rings, passport cases and random figures are among the goods.
