Free Autumn Festival at Seonyudo Park — Oct. 24–25, Seoul
On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October, the Yeongdeungpo Seonyudo Park Festival fills Seonyudo Park and the car-free street outside Seonyudo Station with outdoor concerts, a flea market, a bird-spotting walk and free outdoor yoga.
When and where
Two days: Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October. The festival runs from the 'walkable street' outside Seonyudo Station (Line 9) to Seonyudo Park, a former water-treatment plant turned park. It is organised by Yeongdeungpo-gu and the Yeongdeungpo Cultural Foundation.
Park entry is free; the grounds are open 06:00–24:00.
What's on
Outdoor performances, hands-on art activities with local artists, a flea market, a guided bird-spotting walk through the park and outdoor yoga. The residents' programme 'October in Seonyu' adds shows, a small film festival, food stalls, a bazaar and a kids' café.
Free yoga, with 20 walk-in spots
Couples' yoga is at 11:00 and family yoga at 13:00 on both days. Each session takes up to 60 people; advance sign-up has closed, but 20 places per session are kept for on-site registration. It is free, and yoga wear is lent for free.
Getting there
Take Line 9 to Seonyudo Station — the festival street starts right outside. The street is closed to cars during the festival, so come by subway. Information: Yeongdeungpo-gu Culture & Arts Division, +82-2-2670-3134 (Korean).
