Kansong Art Museum’s painting-box show, Oct. 7–Dec. 6

Kansong Art Museum in Seoul is presenting “상서箱書: 컬렉션을 읽다” from October 7 to December 6, marking the 120th anniversary of Kansong’s birth.

The exhibition

The show pairs works with the inscriptions preserved on the paulownia-wood boxes that held them. It traces how the collection’s cultural objects were acquired and preserved.
