Korean stock market closed today for the substitute holiday

KRX lists Monday, October 5 as a market holiday for the substitute Gaecheonjeol holiday. KOSPI and KOSDAQ regular trading will not open today.

No regular KRX session today

KRX rules state that trading and settlement do not take place on government-designated holidays. Regular cash-market hours are normally 09:00–15:30 KST, but today is a holiday session.

If you are preparing orders after the long weekend, confirm how your brokerage handles reserved orders. Overseas markets follow different holiday calendars, so domestic and foreign trading schedules should be checked separately.
