Italian creative duo Imaginarium has released a film of its Seoul performance of Turandot delle Stelle, staged with the Korean group Hangang Factory. The concert took place on September 9 at Guro Arts Valley Art Theater, and the 44-minute, 8-second recording was posted on Vimeo on September 28.
The duo
Davide Giannoni and Francesca Pasquinucci founded Imaginarium Creative Studio in Viareggio, Italy, in 2011. Giannoni is a composer and musician; Pasquinucci is an illustrator and stage designer.
Their work combines music, drawing and stage space. The studio lists Turandot delle Stelle as a hand-drawn project, with artwork developed into moving projections.
Seoul performance with Hangang Factory
Turandot delle Stelle marks the 2026 centenary of the first performance of Puccini’s Turandot. It is built around collaboration with musicians in each host city; in Seoul, the duo performed with Hangang Factory.
Presented by the Italian Cultural Institute in Seoul and Guro Cultural Foundation, the performance took place at Guro Arts Valley Art Theater on September 9, 2026.
The recording
The Seoul recording Imaginarium posted to Vimeo on September 28 runs 44 minutes and 8 seconds. It is footage of the live stage, with performers and projected artwork in the same frame.
