Crimson Desert's First DLC Takes You to Sea, Delayed Two Weeks to Oct. 30 KST (27,800 Won)

The big change in Crimson Desert's first DLC is the setting. Pearl Abyss releases 'Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown' on Oct. 30 Korea time, two weeks after the original Oct. 16 date.

Sail your own ship to new islands

The land-based game opens up to the ocean. You captain your own ship, sail to new islands and search for treasure and ruins underwater, with new enemies and challenges on land and at sea.

Housing can be customised and leased facilities earn income, and you can build relationships with local residents.

27,800 won, digital only

The DLC costs 27,800 won (about US$24.99) and is sold as a digital download only. Pre-orders opened Sept. 3 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Owners of Crimson Desert Enhanced get 10% off.

Pre-order buyers receive free in-game diving sets.

Why the two-week delay

Pearl Abyss said it needed more development time to deliver a more complete, stable experience. The reports give no launch hour.

The first expansion after Enhanced

Crimson Desert Enhanced, out in August, reinforced the story and the game overall, and overseas reviewers said it felt like a new game. The DLC was revealed at Sony's State of Play on Sept. 3.

The official launch trailer is on the Crimson Desert YouTube channel.
