Musical Rachmaninoff comes to Busan’s Yeongdo, Oct. 17

The musical Rachmaninoff plays Bongnae Hall at Busan’s Yeongdo Culture and Arts Center on Saturday, October 17, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. KST. The two-hander stars Won Tae-min and Jung Dong-hwa, accompanied by piano and a string quartet.

Story and cast

The musical is based on Rachmaninoff’s meeting with physician Nikolai Dahl after the failure of his first symphony left him unable to compose. Won plays Rachmaninoff and Jung plays Dahl, with pianist Kim Yeo-rang on stage.
