Longtake, an Amorepacific fragrance brand, is selling Rose Remains Airy Silky, a line that puts the same scent into a shampoo, a hair oil and a perfume. The brand describes the scent as a combination of rose and woody notes.
Amorepacific introduced Rose Remains Airy Silky on September 11. Because it comes in three formats — shampoo, hair oil and perfume — the same scent family can be used from washing hair to heading out the door.
Each product is used at a different point in the day: the shampoo while washing, the hair oil as the last styling step, and the perfume after getting dressed. Buyers can choose a single product rather than the full set.
Longtake describes the hair oil as a low-viscosity, watery formula designed for a light finish. How it actually feels and how strong the scent is cannot be judged from the brand’s description alone.
According to the launch announcement, sales began at Olive Young in mid-September, with Naver Smart Store and Kakao Gift among the channels added in October. Olive Young has a hair-oil listing that includes Rose Remains. Sets, prices and stock may vary by seller.
Eyewear brand Albrecht Dürer, which lists a business address in Seoul’s Gangnam district, introduced two fragrances, 1498 and 1500, on October 2. Both are based on self-portraits the artist Albrecht Dürer painted in those years.
The 1498 self-portrait
The Prado’s description of the 1498 self-portrait highlights Dürer’s elegant clothing and gloves. The museum links the gloves to high social standing and to his wish to present himself as an artist rather than a craftsman.
The painting gives the gloved hands nearly as much weight as the face. It is a carefully constructed public image.
The 1500 self-portrait
The 1500 self-portrait in Munich’s Alte Pinakothek shows Dürer facing forward, one hand held before his chest. The museum connects the gaze and the hand with seeing and creating.
The two paintings were made two years apart. The difference in pose and gaze changes the impression of the same man.
How the brand describes the scents
The brand describes 1498 as spicy, fresh, leathery and mossy, and 1500 as powdery, soft and deep. The words are the brand’s interpretation of the paintings.
They do not indicate the actual ingredients or how long the scents last.
What the package contains
The released photograph shows the 1498 and 1500 bottles stacked together, but the announced PERSONA II package pairs one eyewear frame with one fragrance. It is not a set containing both scents.
Which fragrance comes with each frame, and whether samples are available, should be checked with the retailer. This article is based on published material; the fragrances were not tested, and current prices and stock were not checked.

Seoul Arts & Culture Education Center Yangcheon is holding an exhibition throughout the former Gimpo water-pumping station through November 28. The show marks a decade since the facility, which once stored and pumped water, became an arts-education space, and its route runs from a basement gallery to the former outdoor reservoir.
The artists
Seokwoo Song, Song Zoohyeong and Hye Joo Jun have all worked with local residents through the center’s arts-education programs. They show photography, video and installation.
The works deal with the distance between people and spaces, layered waves, and landscapes where plants meet artificial structures.
Outdoor projections
Video is projected onto the outer wall of the reservoir only on October 15–17, from 18:00 to 21:00 KST. The indoor exhibition runs until November 28.
On opening day, October 15, viewing begins at 17:00.
Opening event
The October 15 opening, from 18:00 to 20:00, includes a talk with the three artists and a media-and-sound performance by Song Zoohyeong × haihm. Places are offered first-come to Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture members who apply in advance, with applications closing October 14 at 17:00 KST. Availability is shown on the booking page.

Genesis Suji is holding a GV90 exhibition through November 8, displaying 16 exterior colors and five interior colorways each for the GV90 and GV90 Neolun on full-size vehicles, arranged by floor.

The exterior range consists of 13 gloss colors and three matte finishes. Visitors can compare finishes and the pairing of exterior and interior materials on actual cars rather than swatches.
Visitor information
The exhibition runs October 8–November 8, 09:00–21:00 KST, and closes on the first Monday of each month, which falls on November 2 during the run. Opening day, October 8, began at 10:00. Regular vehicle displays are suspended during the exhibition.
The venue lists 1522-8830 for visit, tour and test-drive reservations; general visits and tour or test-drive programs have different conditions. The operator warns that weekend parking may be busy and recommends public transport.
Song of Roots, an exhibition pairing metalworking shops in Seoul’s Mullae-dong with artists, closes October 11. Four teams show work built on local metal fabrication skills, with free admission on the final weekend, October 10–11.
Four teams
Each team pairs a Mullae metalworking business with an artist. Starting points include silicone-molded ice trays, a heart keyring, an unfinished mortar, a prototype motor and machining by-products.
The exhibition draws its materials from a neighborhood where metal shops and creative studios operate side by side.
Repeated shapes
A photograph of Bonghwa Industry’s collaboration with Kim Seong-jin shows three metal plates standing against a wall, one carrying repeated small shapes and another cut with a large rectangular opening.
Elsewhere, small recesses in a plate, circular components around a light and gear diagrams on a wall form other patterns. Cutting recesses, shaping circles and joining parts give the same metal a different character in each work.
Visitor information
The exhibition runs September 18–October 11 and is open 10:00–18:00 with free admission on October 10–11. The venue is Soolsool Center B1, 15 Dorim-ro 133-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, about a 10-minute walk from Exit 7 of Mullae Station on Line 2.
The separate My Factory archive exhibition is closed this weekend. Inquiries: 02-2634-2237.
Open Sentences, a show of 16 works by nine Dongtan residency artists, runs through October 16 in the first-floor corridor of Hwaseong City Council’s new building.
A studio in a former library
The Dongtan residency, a shared studio space, opened this year in a former library at Dongtan Complex Culture Center. The exhibition brings its artists’ work into a civic building used by residents every day.
Visitor information
The show runs October 6–16, open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and closed on weekends and public holidays. It is closed the October 10–11 weekend; the remaining viewing days are October 12–16.
Seoul eyewear brand MUUT showed its MEND collection at SILMO Paris 2026, held September 25–28. The frames carry ribbon-like metal details and band-shaped structures on the sides.
At SILMO Paris
MUUT presented MEND alongside collaboration products. Its booth photograph shows slender frames, colored lenses and thicker rims displayed together.
The photograph does not identify each model, and not every piece shown belongs to MEND.
The collection’s theme
MEND takes unfinished times, the wounds left by relationships and recovery as its themes. MUUT had already described the collection’s ribbon and band details in a May announcement of a Shanghai pop-up.
As the name suggests, the design centers on forms that wrap the frame’s joints.
What to check
Rim thickness shows from the front, decoration and temple line from the side, and overall proportion only when worn. Shape in a photograph and comfort on the face can differ.
The accompanying Shanghai product image was distributed in May; its local price labels are not current Korean prices. The brand’s official information lists current models and colors.
Dangrim Museum unveiled two new paintings from Song Jin-uk’s Ornament series when it announced the invitational exhibition Revalued: 가치와 시선 on October 6. Gold-colored borders, red hearts and green clovers scatter across a dark ground, mixed with everyday objects such as keys and safety pins.
The works
Ornament 26-1 measures 97 × 97 cm and Ornament 26-3 is 72.7 × 72.7 cm. According to the museum, both square paintings were made in 2026 in acrylic on canvas.
The jewel-like elements are painted, not actual jewelry attached to the surface.
Composition
In the supplied images, 26-1 disperses small clusters across the whole canvas, while in 26-3 decorations curve around a dark open space near the center.
Common objects such as keys and safety pins sit among the ornate motifs. The originals differ in size, even when shown at the same scale on screen.
From portraits to pattern
In a 2025 interview with YTN Art Square, Song discussed his interest in socially defined standards of beauty and portrait details that emerge only on close looking.
The museum presents Non-Mainstream Beauty, Unsorted and the new Ornament series as one line of work, tracing the artist’s shift from people to objects and patterns.
Lee Inkyung, an artist who makes pictures with dressmaking pins, is showing 심는 풍경-Re:Bloom at Dongtan Art Square in Hwaseong’s Dongtan Multipurpose Cultural Center through October 24. The works fill chair and plant shapes with pins against pink, yellow and green grounds. Admission is free.
Surfaces made of pins
The Hwaseong City Cultural and Tourism Foundation says Lee has long used pins as an artistic material. From a distance the works read as familiar shapes such as flowers and chairs; up close, their surfaces resolve into small pins.
Visitors must keep the required distance and not touch the works.
Healing 3 Seater Chair
The foundation describes Healing 3 Seater Chair as a chair whose surface is filled with flowers and weeds rendered in pins, pairing an object made for rest with a sharp material.
The foundation links the work to recovery and relationships after hurt.
Exhibition details
The lead photograph, supplied by the foundation, shows the artist talk held after the October 2 opening ceremony.
According to the foundation, the exhibition runs free of charge through October 24. Visiting hours and programs such as docent tours are listed in its latest notices.
Painter Yeo Dong-heon’s special exhibition Welcome to Paradise runs through December 6 in the World Folk Museum’s special exhibition room at Korean Folk Village in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. Among the 16 works is the 2023 painting Pink Paradise - 시집가는 날 2, in which a wedding procession crosses a field of pink.
Pink Paradise - 시집가는 날 2
In the published image, a wedding procession moves out from a palanquin near the center. A passage opens between dense pink patterns, followed by clothed, animal-faced figures and long curving ribbons.
The painting is not a record of an actual wedding but an imagined scene that rearranges familiar traditional motifs.
Sixteen works in three sections
The organizer divides the 16 works into three sections, Voyage, Parade and Paradise, moving from imaginary journeys through cities and festivities toward images of Korean tradition and home.
Visitor information
The exhibition runs October 3–December 6, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Viewing is free, but Korean Folk Village admission is separate. Standard full-day weekend admission is ₩39,000 for adults and ₩32,000 for children; age categories and discounts are on the official fare table.
The address is 90 Minsokchon-ro, Giheung-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, reachable by bus from Sanggal Station on the Suin–Bundang Line. The venue says museums and galleries may close for internal reasons, so checking same-day notices is advised.
