D'FESTA THE ORIGIN at IFC Mall Yeouido: K-Pop Exhibition With BTS, G-Dragon and 46 More Artists, Until Nov. 30

Why NOW picked itGood if you want 48 K-pop artists' photo sets in one place, from BTS to aespa. Entry closes at 7 p.m., so it fits before dinner, and the venue takes card or mobile payment only.

A K-pop exhibition, D'FESTA THE ORIGIN, opened on Oct. 23 on level 3 of IFC Mall in Yeouido. Nine acts and 48 artists take part, including BTS, G-Dragon, Stray Kids, aespa and IVE, and it runs daily from 11 a.m. to 8:40 p.m. through Nov. 30. General admission is 32,000 won, with entry closing at 7 p.m.

Nine acts, 18 stories, built as sets

More than 30 photo sets were built and shot over about four months. The main space, THE NINEFOLD, tells the nine acts' stories in 18 chapters, followed by the black-and-white portraits of HUES OF BLACK and KANON NO. 48, a large work with all 48 artists.

Photos, video, fashion and art share one route, so there is plenty to see even if you are not a fan.

Paintings and handwritten letters by the members

THE SQUEEZE shows paintings the members made themselves, and LETTERS has handwritten notes and video messages to fans. In THE ENCOUNTER you can hear the artists' voices and take photos.

Photos are allowed only in designated areas, and photo and video recording is banned after THE ENCOUNTER.

Your ticket comes with a photo card

The admission kit holds a photo ticket, stickers and a leaflet, and the photo ticket shows one randomly chosen participating artist. Plan on about an hour for the exhibition, or around 90 minutes with the collection shop.

Book from abroad and bring a card

Tickets are on NOL Ticket, which links an English booking site (world.nol.com) for international users. The venue is cashless, so bring a card or mobile payment. Cancelling within 7 days of booking is refunded except the booking fee, and date-based fees apply after that.

The gallery is on the mall's third floor, and the mall's signs point to subway Lines 5 and 9. The show goes to Tokyo in January.
