Sacheon Air Show: Free Black Eagles and KF-21 Flights, Through Sunday Oct. 25

Why NOW picked itA good Saturday trip south if you like aircraft. The Black Eagles fly at 10:40 a.m. and 2:20 p.m., and Sunday (Oct. 25) is the last day. Entry registration is required and cars cannot go in, so you ride the free shuttle.

The Black Eagles take off at 10:40 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. This weekend the 2026 Sacheon Air Show in South Gyeongsang runs through Sunday, Oct. 25, and admission is free.

Black Eagles at 10:40 and 14:20

The Black Eagles fly their full eight-jet show twice a day Friday to Sunday, at 10:40 a.m. and 2:20 p.m., about 35 minutes each.

The KF-21 flies at 10:04 a.m. and 3:29 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; on Sunday the afternoon slot ends at 3:39 p.m. Australia's Paul Bennett civilian aerobatic team flies at 9:35 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. The official site notes that times can change with the weather or the organisers' circumstances.

Around lunchtime, people fall from the sky

Air Force special-mission airmen jump from 2,100 meters at 12:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11:50 a.m. on Sunday. From 1:10 p.m. a 30-minute combat search-and-rescue demonstration shows how a downed pilot is pulled out.

Aircraft are parked on display beside the runway, with boarding experiences too, which fills the gaps between flights.

No cars inside, but the shuttle is free

The show is held inside a military facility, so only people with completed entry registration get in. Registering online is faster; on-site registration needs photo ID. Entry closes at 2 p.m. and you leave by 5 p.m.

Private cars cannot enter. Park at a temporary lot and ride the free shuttle, which runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The former reservist lodging lot is a walk-in with stairs and a pontoon bridge, so strollers are a problem.

Getting there from Seoul

The official site gives two routes. Take the KTX or SRT to Jinju Station, then an intercity bus to Sacheon Terminal and the shuttle; or fly from Gimpo to Sacheon Airport and take the shuttle.

Drones, bicycles, e-scooters, alcohol, pets and tents stay at home. Photography is allowed only in designated areas.
