Why NOW picked itSet a phone alarm: the first booking window is Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. and last year it sold out in 30 minutes. Visitors from abroad can book through Klook or use the on-site foreigner desk.
On Nov. 10, The Hyundai Seoul opens a Christmas village on its 5th-floor Sounds Forest built as 1980s-90s New York. It is reservation-only, so the first booking window, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m., is the real starting line.
13 red-brick buildings and a yellow taxi
This year's theme is 'Christmas in New York City'. Thirteen red-brick buildings up to 10 m tall are fitted with billboards, neon signs and a yellow taxi.
The story: in a city that never sleeps, the brand's bear Harry struggles to deliver gifts, and alley cats step in to help.
Book on the app at 11 a.m. on Nov. 5
H Village is by reservation. The first window opens Nov. 5 at 11:00 on The Hyundai Hi app.
Last year about 45,000 people were connected at once and the first slots were gone in 30 minutes. If you miss it, QR codes on floors 2-4 let you join an on-site waiting list.
If you are visiting from abroad
Foreign visitors can reserve in advance through online travel agencies such as Klook, and an on-site waiting desk for foreigners will operate. That route avoids needing the Korean app.
