Free Night Media Art at Yeosu's Jinnamgwan, 7:30 p.m. Nightly Until Nov. 8

Why NOW picked itA free evening add-on to a Yeosu waterfront trip, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Weekends bring hands-on programmes and a flea market.

Yeosu's Jinnamgwan area is lit with national-heritage media art every evening from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. through Nov. 8. Entry is free.

Three spots light up at 7:30

The show spreads across Jinnamgwan, Gosodae and Yi Sun-sin Square. Video and light are projected on the Jinnamgwan hall, on the stele pavilion and protected trees at Gosodae, and on the turtle ship at the square.

The theme is "Jinnamgwan: Rebuilt with Light", drawing on Yi Sun-sin's war diary, his care for ordinary people and the turtle ship's voyages.

Take photos, collect stamps

An AI metahuman of Admiral Yi appears, and there is interactive content that uses visitors' own photos. A stamp tour links Jinnamgwan, Tarubi and the turtle ship.

Weekends add hands-on programmes

Weekend hands-on programmes and a flea market run alongside the show. The address is 11 Dongmun-ro, Yeosu.

The organisers say the schedule can change, so check Yeosu City's notice before you go.

Not many nights left

The run ends on Sunday, Nov. 8. It costs nothing and starts after dark, so it pairs easily with an evening by Yeosu's harbour.
