Why NOW picked itA music stop that pairs well with Insadong and Ikseon-dong on a weekend in Jongno. It wraps up at 7 p.m., so a late-afternoon arrival leaves little time for the booths.
This weekend Seoul's famous instrument arcade turns into a guitar festival. Guitar Show Nakwon 2026 runs Saturday Oct. 31 and Sunday Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., a one-minute walk from Jongno 3-ga Station Exit 5.
One minute from Exit 5
The venue is the Nakwon Instrument Arcade at 428 Samil-daero in Jongno-gu. Take Exit 5 of Line 5 Jongno 3-ga Station and it is a one-minute walk; from Exit 1 of Line 1 it is about five.
Insadong and Ikseon-dong are next door, so a morning at the show and lunch nearby is an easy plan.
Gibson to Colt on the brand floor
The instrument brand fair lists Gibson, Colt, HEX, GearLounge, Musicians Club and Crafter. The idea is to pick the instruments up and play them, not just look.
A rooftop stage and the contests
Live performances run on the 4th-floor outdoor stage, while band and guitar contests, including a bass jam, take place elsewhere in the building. One contest programme is new for 2026. The line-up may change.
Goods pop-ups and a Neil Zaza masterclass
A pop-up store area with goods, fashion, music and drinks, including character merchandise, opens alongside.
Workshops and talks include a Crafter workshop, an LR Baggs showcase and a Neil Zaza masterclass. The timetables are images on the Fun Seoul event page; questions go to 02-743-6131 or Instagram @nakwonmusic.
