Why NOW picked itA fit for anyone who wants a slow after-work coffee in a hanok on a Thursday. With 10 seats a session and October sold out, check what is left first.
Ninety minutes in a softly lit hanok with barista coffee and traditional sweets. Gabaeok, Namsangol Hanok Village's night program, runs on Thursdays Nov. 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 7 p.m., and takes only 10 people at a time.
The Okin-dong house at 7 p.m.
It is held in the Okin-dong house inside Namsangol Hanok Village. Each session starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 8:30.
Adults only.
Four drinks, two sweets
You get four coffee and non-coffee drinks by a barista and two traditional sweets. The drinks take their cue from the 24 solar terms and seasonal ingredients.
An hour goes to tasting, and the last 30 minutes are free time in the hanok. The fee is 25,000 won per person.

October sold out completely
With only 10 seats a session, every October slot sold out. November booking opened on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
Check remaining seats and how to book on the village's official website and SNS. A village official called it a program that adds today's coffee culture to the spatial charm of an old hanok.

Planning a November Thursday
All four dates are Thursdays, which suits an after-work plan. The village's one-night walk, Sparkle Namsan Night Walk, is on Nov. 21 only, so it does not clash with Gabaeok.
